Education, before anything else

What you should know before you start.

01

What GLP-1 medication actually does

GLP-1 receptor agonists mimic a hormone your gut releases after eating. They slow gastric emptying, signal fullness to the brain, and improve how your body handles glucose. The result for most patients is a genuine reduction in appetite and food noise, not stimulant-driven suppression.

02

Why titration matters more than dose

Starting low and increasing slowly is what separates a tolerable experience from a miserable one. Your provider steps your dose based on your response and side effects, holding you at a level that works rather than pushing to a maximum that does not.

03

Injectable, oral, or supporting therapy

Weekly injectables deliver the most consistent blood levels and the strongest published outcomes. Oral and sublingual options suit patients who prefer to avoid needles. Lipotropic and B12 injections are supporting therapies for energy and metabolism, not replacements for GLP-1 care.

04

What we ask of you

Adequate protein, resistance training, and hydration protect lean mass while you lose weight. Your provider will set targets with you. Medication does the hard part, but it works best alongside those basics.

Common questions

Weight Loss FAQ

Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy and contain the same active ingredient. They are not FDA-approved products and are not identical to brand-name medications. Your provider will discuss the differences with you before prescribing.

Most patients notice reduced appetite within the first two weeks. Meaningful weight change usually appears between weeks four and twelve as your dose is titrated. Individual results vary.

If your provider determines treatment is not clinically appropriate, you are not charged for medication and we refund your visit fee in full.

Your provider may request recent bloodwork depending on your history. If labs are needed, we will tell you exactly what to get and how to submit them.
